Not necessarily, although short-term and convenient housing is very difficult to obtain in New York City. You will stay in full-size one bedroom apartments located on the same block as our campus at the Empire State Building or in a dorm-style residence in the historic Lower East Side.

What should I do now to begin the application process?
First, speak with your school’s Study Abroad or Off-Campus Study Coordinator as soon as possible. Your school may have special requirements for a semester program at another institution.

Next, speak to your faculty advisor and registrar. You will want to determine how courses at King’s will fit into your degree qualifications. (Course descriptions are listed here.)  You are strongly encouraged to obtain written confirmation from your registrar’s office that credit awarded by The King’s College (upon successful completion of the course work) will transfer to your home institution.

You may also want to speak with your school’s Financial Aid office for possible scholarships, and to learn how to transfer federal financial aid for one semester, if applicable.

The process consists of these items:

  • Online application

  • Brief phone interview

When will I find out if I’m accepted?
