Thousands of college students travel to
New York City to complete internships every year. You may want to
seek an internship to add to your NYC semester experience.
Once you have been accepted into the
NYC Semester Program you will be able to apply for internships
through the Office of Career Development at King’s. Our Office of
Career Development coordinates for students a wide variety of
internship opportunities in the New York metro area, and as a
visiting student, this Office will work individually with you to
obtain and circulate your resume on your behalf to potential
employers.
Should you get an internship, you
will have the possibility to earn academic credit for your
internship. Students must secure internship employment on their own
by going through the interview process, and also get approval for
credit from their home institution and The King’s College.
While the Office of Career
Development may provide some resources for your internship search,
securing an internship is the responsibility of each student. King’s
makes no guarantee that you will be able to win a position as an
intern while you are in New York City.
